Drontal Tasty Bone Wormer Tablets for Small and Medium Dogs (2 - 20kg)
Drontal Tasty Bone Wormer Tablets are a convenient worming treatment for small and medium dogs weighing between 2kg and 20kg. The bone-shaped, meat-flavoured tablets are designed to be palatable and easy to give, either directly to your dog or with food.
Drontal helps treat mixed infections of common roundworms and tapeworms in dogs, including ascarids, hookworms, whipworms and tapeworms. For dogs over 20kg, it may be more suitable to use the Drontal Tasty Bone XL Wormer Tablets
Suitable for: Dogs and puppies weighing 2kg to 20kg.
Active ingredients per tablet:
Febantel 150mg
Pyrantel 50mg, equivalent to 144mg pyrantel embonate
Praziquantel 50mg
Dosage guide:
2–5kg bodyweight: ½ tablet
Over 5–10kg bodyweight: 1 tablet
Over 10–15kg bodyweight: 1½ tablets
Over 15–20kg bodyweight: 2 tablets
Give as a single oral administration. Tablets may be given with or without food. Your dog should be weighed accurately before treatment to ensure the correct dose is given.
Important information: Do not use in dogs weighing less than 2kg. Do not use during the first and second third of pregnancy. Wash hands after use. Any remaining half-tablets should be wrapped in aluminium foil, returned to the open blister and used within 7 days. Always read the product packaging and datasheet before use.
