Drontal XL Dog Wormer

Drontal XL Dog Wormer is a meat-flavoured, bone-shaped worming tablet for large dogs. It is used for the treatment of mixed infections of common roundworms and tapeworms in dogs, including roundworms, hookworms, whipworms and tapeworms.

The XL tablet is designed for larger dogs and can be divided into halves, making it easier to dose dogs according to bodyweight.

Suitable for: Large dogs.

Active ingredients per tablet:

Febantel 525mg
Pyrantel 175mg, equivalent to 504mg pyrantel embonate
Praziquantel 175mg

Dosage guide:

7–17.5kg bodyweight: ½ tablet
Over 17.5–35kg bodyweight: 1 tablet
Over 35–52.5kg bodyweight: 1½ tablets
Over 52.5–70kg bodyweight: 2 tablets

Give as a single oral administration. For each additional 17.5kg bodyweight, administer a further ½ tablet.

Directions for use: Give the correct dose by mouth according to your dog’s current bodyweight. Tablets can be given with or without food and may be given directly or mixed with a small amount of food.

Weigh your dog accurately before treatment to ensure the correct dose is given.

Important information: Do not use in dogs weighing less than 7kg. Do not use during the first and second third of pregnancy. Wash hands after use. Keep out of reach of children. Always read the product packaging and datasheet before use.
