Elanco Scour Formula Extra is a palatable, water-soluble oral rehydration powder for calves. It is used to help treat and prevent dehydration associated with calf scour, helping replace lost fluids and electrolytes.
The glucose-glycine-electrolyte formulation helps support fluid uptake and provides energy and electrolyte support during periods of digestive upset. Supplied as a 48-sachet box, it is a useful product to keep in stock during calving and youngstock rearing periods.

Directions for use: For oral administration only. Add the contents of sachets A and B to 2 litres of fresh water at approximately 35°C and mix thoroughly.
For scouring calves, use as directed on the product packaging. Any prepared solution not consumed within 24 hours should be discarded. Ensure all calves receive adequate colostrum.
Important information: For use in calves only. This product supports rehydration but does not replace veterinary attention where a calf is severely dehydrated or seriously unwell. Seek veterinary advice where scour is severe, persistent, bloody, accompanied by weakness, collapse, fever, or where the calf is not drinking. Keep feeding utensils clean and always read the product label and datasheet before use.
