Spotinor 10 mg/ml Spot-on Solution for Cattle and Sheep

Spotinor is a deltamethrin spot-on solution for the treatment and prevention of external parasites in cattle, sheep and lambs. It is applied externally as a single spot-on dose and is designed to help control lice, flies, ticks, keds and established blowfly strike, depending on the species being treated.

In cattle, Spotinor is used for the treatment and prevention of sucking and biting lice, and as an aid in the treatment and prevention of biting and nuisance flies. In sheep, it is used for the treatment and prevention of ticks, lice, keds and established blowfly strike. In lambs, it is used for the treatment and prevention of ticks and lice.

Suitable for: Cattle, sheep and lambs.

Active ingredient: Deltamethrin 10mg/ml.

Uses:

Cattle: sucking lice, biting lice, biting flies and nuisance flies
Sheep: ticks, lice, keds and established blowfly strike
Lambs: ticks and lice

Dosage guide:

Cattle: 10ml
Sheep: 5ml
Lambs under 10kg bodyweight or under 1 month of age: 2.5ml

Apply as a single dose to one spot on the mid-line of the back at the shoulders. For sheep, part the fleece and apply directly to the skin. For established blowfly strike, apply directly to the affected area as soon as strike is seen.

Withdrawal periods:

Cattle meat and offal: 17 days
Cattle milk: zero hours
Sheep meat and offal: 35 days

Important information: For external use only. Do not use on sick or convalescent animals. Do not use in cases of known hypersensitivity to the active substance or any of the excipients. Avoid unnecessary or repeated use and follow the label directions carefully. Keep treated sheep separated from untreated sheep to help avoid re-infestation. Wear suitable protective clothing and gloves when applying. Dangerous to fish and aquatic life, keep treated animals away from watercourses as directed on the product label. Keep out of reach of children and always read the product packaging and datasheet before use.
